Table 1


The table and the line below illustrate that how many overseas residents visit Australia yearly, and also where the visitors came from, and from which country.

In the line graph, the numbers of visitor are almost 10 million in the year 1975. After 10 years the visits to Australia by overseas residents increased to 16 million visits, and it kept on increasing till they reached almost 31 million visits in the year 2005.

In the table, the number of visitors increased from 8.8 to 30.4 million, in 30 years period. The highest number of visitors that came to Australia in the year 1975 are the Japanese visitors and they increased to 12 million in the year 2005. The country with lowest number of visitors are china with 0.3 million visitors in 1975 and 0.8 million in 2005. Followed by USA, Britain< Europe and South Korea.

In conclusion, the most noticeable part is that the number of visits to Australia by overseas residents increased from the year 1975 and 2005, also that japan has the highest number of visitors.
