Portfolio task 1

            The charts show the share of the Australian and British cinema markets in 2000 and cinema markets in 2000 and cinema attendance in Britain and Australia from 1980 to 2000.
            The country with the highest films origin was the USA films, 75 % in Britain, and 67 % for Australia. In Britain this is followed by the British films, with 20% British origin, and 5% in Australia. No Australian films are shown in Britain. In the second chart, from 1980 to 2000, the British had more attendance the Australia. The British started with 100 million in 1980, and Australia started with 100 million in 1980, and Australia started with 40 million. They both dropped in 1982, and then they slightly increased.
            In conclusion, British films are more popular than Australian films in Britain. In 2000, attendance chart rose to 150 million viewers in Britain, and in Australia it also increased to 90 million viewers.

USA and EEC unemployment levels



The graph shows the unemployment levels in the USA and EEC from 1972 to 1981. There were increases in those years, and also some decreases that affected the graph.

The most registered unemployed men and women were in the USA. In 1972, the number of registered unemployed in the USA was nearly 5 million; it then decreased dramatically to almost 4.5 million in 1973. After that, it increased sharply to almost 8 million and it was the highest in all categories. In contrast, registered unemployed men in the EEC had the lowest numbers and ratios in the graph. They were at 2 million in 1972 and after 9 years they increased to 5 million.

There was an increase in registered unemployed levels in all categories. Unemployment levels increased from 1972 to 1981, for men and women in both the EEC and the USA, levels that had reached almost 9m by 1981.
