Portfolio task 4

Competing and cooperating are the most important aspects for children to become useful adults in the future. Some people think that competition should be taught for children. Others think that cooperation will make the child a sucessful adult. In this essay i will write about how people can gain from competing and cooperating in life experience.
Competition can help children gain alot of physical and mental experience. Such as playing sports to get the first place, and studying hard to achieve the full marks or an A score in grades. The reason why some adults encourages competition is to make children work harder to achieve their golas. Children will also be better at solo games and self study. The problem with that is they will not be able to help their friends, because they were taught that they need to work alone to achieve their goal.
On the other hand, children who are taught toi cooperate will work as a team to achieve their goal. Working as a team will benefit the child in the future, he/she will help her friend if they are under pressure. For example a guy studying for an electrical exam, and hes under pressure because he does not understand the equations, his friends will help him so he gets a good mark. Also in sports such as soccer, the team should work together to win the games.
In conclusion, children who are taught to cooperate will do better in life than children who are encouraged to compete.

Portfolio task 3

Many people in this world are willing to spend alot of money to acquire a healthy life. Some people think that eating healthy food is the major key to a healthy life, while the others think that a person needs more than that to be healthy.
First, a healthy life can only be acquired by eating a balanced diet. People who agree try and find the suitable ingredients, that will benefit the human body the most. It also means that people will not eat junk food, because junk food is know as unhealthy food. Eating healthy meals also needs lot of effort, because the human body needs lot of care. People who agree will eat at least three meals per day.
On the other hand, people who disagree find eating balanced meals is not the only thing a person needs to be healthy in his life. A healthy person should work out five days per week. Waking or jogging or also going to the gym. Exercising the human is the an essential part for human body, it is the key to happiness. Most people who only eat healthy food are out of shape, they need to build their stamina. Also exercising is not the only part. Smoking and drinking also affect the human body. Smoking causes lung cancer and make people so addicted to nicotine. Smoking does not only cause cancer, but also destroys the human body and the person's stamina. some people also suffer from peer pressure, they need support from their friends and family who are healthy.
In conclusion, I disagree with the statement because a person needs more than a balanced diet to acquire a healthy life, for example excercising daily, support from friends and family, and lastly to quit smoking and drinking.
